When giving a presentation to the class never read out loud what is written on the board.

Academics have statistics supporting that less information remains in the students mind by doing so.

Instead, use the visual display or PowerPoint in the following ways:

- Display a quote and allow students time to read it.

- Use the visual on the board as an emphasis of what is being said through specific words or relatable pictures.

When displaying information on a screen/webpage/PowerPoint etc ensure to use the F format. The F format shows the most important information is in the shape of an F.
